Millard Fillmore Fact 1:Millard Fillmore was the 13th president of the US from 1850 to 1853.
 
Millard Fillmore Fact 2:Accomplishments and Achievements: He was an ineffective president. He supported the Compromise of 1850, which allowed slavery in the South. This law failed as neither the North nor the South was happy with it.
 
Millard Fillmore Fact 3:The policies of of the president led to division in the Whig party. The anti-slavery faction of the Whigs, including members of the "Barnburners" anti-slavery faction and the Free-Soilers  successfully prevented the re-nomination of Millard Fillmore and destroyed the Whig Party in 1853.
 
Millard Fillmore Fact 4:Presidential Cabinet: This president did not appoint a Vice President. The names of the men who held the position of Secretary of State were John M. Clayton (1850), Daniel Webster (1850-52) and Edward Everett (1852-53)
