Richard Nixon Fact 2:Accomplishments and Achievements: Although his presidency is forever tainted by the Watergate scandal he did  promote an Interim Agreement on the Limitation of Strategic Offensive Arms and the SALT Agreement (Strategic Arms Limitation Talks) between Russia and the US.  His visit to China was an important step in formally normalizing relations between the two countries.
 
Richard Nixon Fact 3:The House Judiciary Committee issued three articles of impeachment against the President on July 30, 1974, but he resigned before the impeachment process could continue to trial.
